stupid klez.h virus wont go away

i keep getting a popup occasionally from my AVG resident shield saying

virus
virus identified i-worm/klez.h

is found in file
c:\system volume information\_restore{FDA8c936-F44c-442E blah blah blah\RP37\A0011308.exe

to remove this virus, please run AVG for windows


i run AVG but it still never goes away
i try to go into that directory myself, but you cant see it in windows explorer
cant get into it within the command prompt
i try to unattrib it and stuff and it just keeps denying me

does this mean i am infected? i keep up to date with avg updates and i do run the complete check but i guess it doesnt check that folder or something

this is annoying help me get rid of it

I had to deal with a similar thing on a WinME machine. Bear with me since it was a while back, and see if this gets you on the right road:

• Disable Windows' System Restore (instructions for WinXP) to nuke the hiding place Klez is using
• Make sure AVG is set to scan everything and run another full-system scan
