A: Who shot the EMP? I guess we're supposed to assume the Minuteman missiles launched were the retaliatory strike at North Korea and Iran, but who fired the EMP at the US?

B: If they stopped the New York bomb from blowing up, why not simply get in touch with the East government and tell them to dismantle it and prove Cheyenne blew everyone up?

I'm only asking because the show seemed almost vaguely interested in not having a bunch of unanswered questions, so maybe I missed something.

A: The voice on the phone that was talking to Hawkin's shot the EMT
B: I don't recall New York not exploding.

A: When did he say that? How'd he do that? What's your source on this?
B: They talked about New York being okay several times

Good questions. I dunno the answers, but would guess "because".

Good Qs and ny did not blow. Some cops caught it.

FWIW I thought the last episode wrapped up more loose ends than expected. I can actually rest easy now. I think this is the best series made in years, but at least the last episode gave some closure.

There are TONS of unanswered questions. I wasn't really satisfied with the season finale, but at least there was some amount of closure. They could have done really, really awesome with the show but they didn't. There was so much material to work with. It had the potential to be the next Lost if they had kept up the twists and turns.

Oh well :(

There are plenty who would argue we don't want Jericho to be the next Lost.

no, but they could have set it up to be a 3 season show easy and close it well. But I guess this is better than ending at just season 1

I don't understand why people are so obsessed with this show. I've seen every episode and it's just mediocre. The only reason I saw it through to the end was cause I knew it would actually have an ending.

It had its moments - the end of season 1 in particular.

I think the premise alone is what got people excited. It's what they did with it (or lack thereof), is why people are so passionate about it.

That said, I think season 2 was pretty bad, and I am glad they ended it. It was absurd that they just swept the whole war between two cities under the rug so they could take the whole "the government is now bad" route.

The final 2 episodes of season 1 were "holy shit, this is awesome" good.

I meant in terms of creativity and popularity. Season 1 of Lost was the best, Season 2 was pretty good, and pretty much downhill after that. I don't even have any favorite characters anymore...Jack is dumb, Locke is nuts, Desmond lost his mind, and Sayid works for Ben. At least Sawyer is turning into a nicer guy lol.

yeah they said new york stopped the bomb in time and was okay. they stopped the terrorists with fake FBI badges (like hawkins has)

it was an intended target that did not explode in time. same as columbus ohio since that was hawkins' bomb's intended destination.
