stupid irq's

hey.
i was wondering how to get my Voodoo3 2000 PCI video card on its own IRQ port. Right now it is on 11, and it is shared with my soundcard and my audio card. how do i switch it to its own port? thanks.

I would remove all devices in your expansion slots, put in the voodoo, let that install it's self again, it should then pick a more preferable IRQ (I have found that IRQ 5 is a good one for graphics cards).

Then put the rest back in.

Certain slots PCI always share with certain other slots. You need to find a PCI slot that doesn't share (you might not have one), or arrange your cards so that no two cards share with each other.

PCI sharing is not a problem. What problem are you having that you think might be caused by your IRQ settings?
