I did a search, and while there a numerous Ebay-related threads here I found none that specifically ask you to list stupid auctions so here is my stupid auction for the day:
I have been tasked by my wife to find/buy a camcorder. I decided on a specific model and found the lowest retail price I could find from a reputable vendor. Well, on a whim I decided to check Ebay. The camcorder is going for anywhere from $325 - $400 new. This is last years model and the original MSRP was $599. When I ran across this auction I was a little surprised:
Camcorder auction
The seller is asking almost twice the value of the unit and more than $130 over MSRP as an opening bid! I don't think they will be selling it too soon ... what a waste.
