Stupid GoPro camera...

I can never tell when this fucking thing is on. It is damned near impossible to tell when it is recording and when it isn't. You can't hear it beep at all over the sound of even the quietest of motorcycles let alone with a helmet on. There is a red light that blinks through the miniscule view finder but it's fricking impossible to look through that when you're on your bike with a helmet on. I just press the button and pray that it is recording...half the time it isn't.

I rode up to the town of Julian today with my friend and some of the best parts of my ride were on the way down the mountain and of course it didn't record any of that...🙄

Note to GoPro: Make some kind of indicator you can actually see so that we can tell that the stupid thing is recording. :|

No, it's a newer one. It has the big light in the front but it is frosted and it is impossible to see in the daylight...it's also impossible to read the digital display on the front of the camera in daylight. Why the fuck they put those on the front of the camera is beyond me anyway.

I do really like the big friggin switch on the ContourHD. It's a big sliding switch that exposes about a 1/2 inch square red painted patch when it's recording. 🙂
