Stupid G-Force 4 Drivers Question...Info Needed Please

Hello all,
well i have a G-Force 4 gainward 650 XP 128 mb Golden Sample...when i went on the website to look for new drivers for Windows XP they still have the original drivers that came with the card ( V29.80 ) when i bought it this summer.

my question is, are there any new drivers for this card...or do i have to wait for gainward to release new drivers for this video card...

sorry for the ignorant question...i know i should know this....

Some video cards manufacturers are very slow in releasing new drivers. For the latest you can always go to the chip manufacturer, nVidia.

so if i install these drivers they will work on my card, like i said before i am a retard with drivers for video...i know invidia makes the G-force cards....so the drivers work on all the G-Force cards then reguardless of the manufacturer ?

Yes. the drivers will work with any video card with an nVidia graphics processor going back to the TNT.

Your best bet is to go to the nvidia website and download the drivers from there. I have the same card as you and have good success with the 3082 and 4109 driver. I prefer the 3082 though. You can also visit guru3d.com and download many driver versions from their site plus get some info as to the pros and cons of each driver version. I think you would be happy with 3082; fast, good image quality and stable performance.
