Stupid Fedex!

Leros

Every Fedex package I have ever gotten, except for 2, ive had to pick up at the airport because I was not home to get it. This time fedex decides to leave it in the apartment office. No big deal, except that the office closed a few minutes after they dropped it off and it wont be open until monday. Im so glad I paid to get this package overnighted to me.

AGH.

I know the USPS gives you a refund on non-delivered next day packages (Guaranteed before 3:30PM the next day.) Maybe Fedex has a similar policy?

Those bastids. :|

So... you paid for the next day delivery and they delivered it, right? What's the problem with FedEx?

Maybe the driver stopped at your place and you weren't home, so he thought to drop it at the office so you could pick it up.

Maybe it's you who sucks, not Fedex. 😛

Why not specify in advance you'd rather pickup at a specific location?

Ive picked up my past 50 packages at the airport. It seemed logical that I could do the same with this package.

Where is it easier for you to pick up packages? If the office is usually open, you could request that they always leave packages there..if not, request the airport -- that way, you'll have something to complain about if they mess up, and might even get a refund on the shipping cost. 🙂

Prearranged? Or as a result of a failed delivery attempt?

From the description above, it sounds more like the latter.

Failed delivery. I choose Fedex for everything, even if it costs more beceaue I know that if Im not home to get it (which im typically not), I can simply drive 15 miles to the airport and get it. I guess we got a new driver or something.

Believe you can call FedEx and arrange that all shipments are held for pickup rather than the more conventional delivery attempt route.

Of course, the optimal solution would be to have the shipment delivered to a workplace instead, if permissable.
