I noticed in the past month or so, I'll randomly get this error when trying to do something, then if I get it once, I always get it when doing that action. IN this case, converting wavs to MP3s. So now, I can't convert wavs to MP3s anymore because of this stupid error.

How did I get rid of that thing? I converted 100 wavs to MP3s, now that I got this once, I can't even do one anymore.

Why would memory suddently go bad though? I did a mass conversion overnight, came back but noticed like 3 of them did not convert (no error or anything) so figured maybe I did not select them or something, so I go to do them and now this. I guess I'll run a memtest overnight and hope for the best. I hope it's not the memory though, this stuff's expensive. But on the positive side, if it is, then I replace it, at least it will fix that problem.

I have a spare stick of 256 though so I could always take replace the bad stick with that and just compromize with a bit less ram.

It turned out that the wav was corrupted, so instead of politely telling me it was, it was spitting out this geberish at me.

But I have a huge system crash, and this error showed it's face so now I'm not sure if it was related or not... started a new thread on it.
