stupid ebay seller...is this worth a negative comment?

i won an auction...payed paypal and then got an email from the guy saying he refunded my money becuase he doesnt have the item!

should i give him a negative comment? i mean he sold me something he didnt have, but he did refuned the money within an hour

i think he listed it numerous times and had already sold it and i did "buy it now" in the time between the other auction ending and him ending this one

Yeah I wouldn't blame the guy toooooo much. I mean the "Giant Vibrating Strap On Dildo w/ rotating head" is a very popular item and it is hard to keep in stock. So just give the guy a neutral and just get on his list to be the first to receive one next time he gets a shipment in.

Yeah neutral...not like he took your money and didn't ship anything....but people need to know that he wasn't able to fulfill your purchase.

I'd say negative. You have no idea if his excuse is innocent or if someone e-mailed him right after the auction ended and offered him more money, he sold it to a friend, etc.

Wait until he leaves you a positive first, though.
