I had called DirecTV's "Mover's Connection" a couple of weeks ago to get DirecTV installed into the new house today. My wife asked me to reschedule later because we agreed to move the close date on the current house up two days and she needed Monday to finish cleaning. DirecTV calls last Friday to confirm my Monday appt and I ask them if they can reschedule for Tuesday. The CSR says sure and does the whole confirmation bit.
I just get a call from the installer asking if anyone was going to be there today. ARRRRGGGGH
The next best time they are going to do an install would be next Tuesday. So now I'm scrambling around to make sure there is someone there to meet the installer. Plus, because I rescheduled to Tuesday, I left my receivers at the old house!! Fortunately, I have the one new receiver I'm installing in the basement there.
Cliffs:
1) DirecTV and Installer not on same page
2) Much hassle for me
3) Peanut Butter Jelly. Peanut Butter Jelly. Peanut Butter Jelly on a baseball bat.
4) Profit?
