STUPID DIALER!! (or stupid operator) Can't get my dialer to store my password! A Little help please! PRETTY PLEASE!!

I just got rid of ME and installed 98SE, now I can't seem to get my dialer to store my log on password! The option to store the password is greyed out. Anyone know whats up with this??? I'm using qwest ADSL with a USB Intel 3200. Any help would be nice!! T.I.A.
