Stupid CS junkies!

Okay, some of my friends are real CS junkies. They drove all the way from Dallas, TX to Ontario Canada to play in some CS tournament then came right back home (they made a weekend trip out of it).
They needed 5 ppl for their clan to participate but only had 4 so they asked me to go. Im not that great at CS at all, i hardly even played the game. Plus I did not feel like driving for 20+ hrs straight for some stupid CS tournament so i declined. They couldnt find a 5th player so they drove up the Canada anyway for the tournament and picked up a 5th player from there locally. After all the effort they still only came in 2nd place and only won 60 bux Canadian. Oh boy!
BTW their clan is PAG i dunno if anybodys seen em in CS before.
 
Is there something wrong with being a cs junkie? 😱 I play Counter-Strike more often then all of my dust covered retail games, combined! 🙂 Hope they come out with CS 2.0, with smarter hostages, a new engine, objectives, guns, and features (such as, flashbangs will blind and make you deaf!). Long live CS!
 
The flashbangs that shot out shrapnel were really fun! The problem was FF... people would hurt/kill their own team without meaning to, as the shrapnel shoots out in unpredicible directions.
 
The old flashbangs used to have shrapnel. I think they took it out a while ago because people were using them for non FB purposes. I remember playing cs_docks, bought a FB and threw it in a window to kill 2 terrorists on the first round!

Back then you didn't know if you killed someone with a headshot (no sprite), but I did hear a loud "thud" sound after the bomb landed and I'm pretty sure that's how I killed them with the FB (I probably got the headshots with the shrapnel, but they could easily have been low on health).
