Currently have a Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 vapor-X 1gb card. Brother just got a Radeon 6950 2gb card and he's going to give me his old Asus 5770 directCU 1gb card.

Will I be able to crossfire these two cards (asus+sapphire) ?

And how fast of a performance is this comparable too? Will I be able to play BF3 @ ultra @ 1080p? :)

Will it run Warcraft 3 (dota particularly)? I heard there were some compatibility issues.

Thanks and muchos gustos!

Yes, you'll be able to crossfire them. However, in BF3, don't expect to be playing anywhere near ultra at 60FPS.

I myself enjoy a constant 60+ FPS with high settings/FXAA on HD6870s crossfire.

Even with an i5-2500k @ 4ghz?

While 2500k is more than sufficient for BF3, the game requires quite a powerful graphics card. Two 5770 might be enough, not sure. I use two 5870s and it is enough for me. Try and see. ;)

PS - "enough" is a subjective thing. Some people are OK with 30fps, some are OK with 60fps.

Those 2 cards should work just fine together in CF. One way to find out about the performance is to try it & see how it goes...and adjust your settings accordingly.

I wouldn't want to play BF3 @ an avg. of <60 FPS.
