anybody- what do you do in this situatation?
Please- it's the last screw holding Toshiba satellite lappy screen together and screen has gone all floppy :( so i need to get inside

I tried asking the clowns in SFF & Notebooks ages ago, no help tho (it is a very specific question i guess)...

stupid crappy quality screw- using the right sized philips screwdriver too :|

Wrong forum nazis- take a ride on a rocket :p

Put some epoxy on the screw head, then put the screwdriver there as well. Let it harden... THen you might be able to get the screw out.

Another thing to try is to carefully drill the head of the screw out. When you get the head of the screw drilled out remove the screen. There should then be enough room to clamp a vice grips on the nub of the screw and turn it out.
