from first post
I get the fans going, and the light on the motherboard goes on, and the cd-rom lights flicker, but thats it, the led power and busy lights don't do anything, funny thing is it worked fine last night and it shut down fine, but then today it doesn't work the first time i turn it on, my specs are below, i put it back at 800mhz but nothing, no beeps or anything, i was thinking that something is wrong with the cpu but i have no idea how to tell, any ideas on what i can do, thanks

now
Well after talking to the place where i bought my motherboard who want me to send the whole thing back to get a new one, since i'm still under warranty, i decide to try a couple more things before I ship it off, so i go to turn it on, and nothing, i make sure everything is plugged in but nothing happens it doesn't turn on anymore, can i pretty much assume that its the power supply now, and it was the power supply in the first place?

I had this exact problem! First I would make sure that everything (cpu, memory, etc...) is seated!. If you still have the same problem, remove the video card. Be sure you turn you computer off first! When you start it again it should beep because the first thing it does during POST is look for a video card. If you get a beep, your video card is probably bad. If not then leave the video card out and power it off and remove each of the other cards individually while powering off and turning it on between each cards removal. If you still have no beep, then remove your memory one stick at a time while powering off and powering on. If you still have no beeps either the processor or motherboard is bad.

Are you sure its not the CPU? i would try getting a different CPU and putting it in. If it dosnt work you can always send it back. It might be the power supply, but your getting power. do you have a voltage meter? I would see if your getting power to the CPU or RAM or anyother part by testing the traces....

yeah, i think i'm gonna try to get a new cpu, its not the video card, its either the cpu or the bios, and hopefully the mb is ok, thanks
