I was checking their channel lineup because I was debating between using them and DirecTV when I move into my new place.

- Comcast doesn't even have Animal Planet.

- 40 of the "100 channels" advertised are crappy music channels, 50% of which are latino music.
- 30 of the remaining channels are FOREIGN LANGUAGE. Viet, Russian, Thai, Mexican, etc.

Goddamnit, don't make me pay for the fricking minority entertainment. Why can't they offer that as a separate package like DirecTV does? Screw that.
 
Is this for their analog service or their digital service? That's really strange if that listing is for their digital service as there should be up to 999 channels (not all taken though).

Exactly.

Comcast charges $55 a month, for 100 channels, half of which aren't even in English. That's a ripoff.
