So, Bellsouth called and left a message here the other day for me to call them. I knew exactly what it was about. They scheduled my billing date over the weekend and expect me to pay early. When it is the next business day they will call and ask if I am going to pay it. Gee, I have had a Bellsouth phone line for over 2 years, and have always paid it. I have dealt with being jerked around, billing errors, general stupidity, arrogance, and lies that they have told me. This was the last straw. I called up and waited the 5 minutes for the CSR. She immediately said... I see you have a 0 Account balance(I paid it the next business day, but it takes a day to process the e-check) and that is what we were calling about. I said "Well, please don't call anymore, because if you schedule my billing date over the weekend, I am going to jerk you around like you all do to me." She didn't really know what to say, so I proceeded on: "Secondly, I don't need a courtesy call to tell me that my bill was not paid ON A DATE THAT YOU DON'T ACCEPT payments." "Please put in my account notes, that if it happens again, I will cancel my service and send you a bill for the extreme anger therapy I will need." "Finally, one more thing, tell the morons in billing to quit scheduling my billing date over the weekend. I am not going to pay my bill ahead of time, and I am going to purposely pay it the next business day after EVERY time until they stop doing this." I said "Thank You" and hung up. Sucks that she was the CSR that had to deal with it, but life is life.
