Stupid apple doesn't let you stop in the middle of installing software.

Windows lets you hault in the middle of installing system applications. But OSX does not. I was trying to install X11, and mistakenly clicked on the wrong application. I couldn't cancel once the installation began. Wasted 30 minutes.

P.S I know it was my fault for clicking on the wrong application to install.

It is stupid that you can't stop in the middle of installing a program. Even if you are installing a new version of IE on windows you can cancel.

I'm rather displeased with Apple on two counts:
1.) They had almost a year to get iTunes+iPod working on Vista, but they didn't, I suppose just because they wanted to be difficult.
2.) They use slightly different keyboard shortcuts from Windows, just to confuse those of us who use both operating systems. Again, just to be difficult.

I applaud them, however, on their iTunes+iTMS+iPod integration, and their hardware.

Apple introduced keyboard shortcuts and they were relocated from the Command to the Control key in Windows. Also I don't know about Windows but at least on Macs most programs allocate the same functions to Command-O, W, P, S, C, X, V, Q...
