Stupid and inconsiderate drivers

I was picking up an order during lunch. The parking along the street in front of the restaurant was full so I had to drive to the back to park. To get to the back you have to go through a little alley way which fits only one car. As I got through the alley this lady was just about to go out. A van was coming through the alley shortly after me which met the lady trying to exit. The two drivers must of stopped there for 30 seconds trying to figure out what to do. I can see the lady waving for the van to back out of the alley and back out into the street so the lady can get out first. I was just thinking to myself WTF lady, you have the whole parking lot to back up into with no one behind you yet you want the other driver to backup through a tiny alley and into the street so your dumb@ss can get out first. Sadly this lady was asian too.

If I was in the van I would not back up and risk getting hit by cars on the street.

I said "Oh" out loud to myself when I read that last part.

 
I was at dinner with the in-laws a few weekends ago. One of the entrances to the parking lot was much like the OP described; narrow enough for only one vehicle, and led to a side street. We witnessed an older gentleman pull in an start to drive through. Of course, then some kid in a stickered-out H2 blastin' his block-rocking-beats pulls in from the opposite direction, and refuses to budge. The older guy has to reverse out and make room.

Of course the bastard parks in the handicapped spot, looked like he had just gotten back from surfing.
