stupid Add/Remove Program!

Does anyone know how to remove a program from that list?

Theres a program on their that i removed but its still on the list. I know the program is no longer on my computer but its still on there and its bothering me!!! Its just one of those annoying things!! well does anyone know how to get it off the list?

I have WinXP Pro.. I installed TweakUI, and i thought that might help.. then i have powertoy.. which is like the same thing... i don't think they can get it off.. well any ideas?

Have you clicked on it? Sometimes that makes it go away after you have rebooted.

i know there's a way, cuz i've done it before. try some of those windows xp tweaking sites..

If it was installed with the Windows Installer Service, you can use this little app from Microsoft to get it off. Get it here. Scroll down to where it says, "Windows NT or 2000" and it has the dowload link. It works for XP too. It lists just MS programs on that site, but it will work with any program that was installed with the Windows Installer Service.

It was a the 3com homeconnect webcam. I tried to get it to work with XP. But things didn't go that well so i had to uninstall everything. And i didn't use the windows installer service...

Any other ideas?

hymmm... how come my registry doesn't have the \unistall?

it goes from "type 1 installer", "userinstallable.drivers", "windows"

anyone know whats wrong?

I used to use that program a lot but I never installed it on my new computer. Glad I could help!
