I have an intel SE440BX mobo. I am building a small system with a P II 350 Processor, PC100 128 MB Ram, SIS AGP VID card and the usual goodies. However I get no video whatsoever and the mobo does not boot. I am using a SOYO POST Card and am getting a "38" post code with the Pheonix bios.
Any suggestions on how to get the thing to boot or even get video would be greatly appreciated.
ThX

Welcome to the Forums, dwal64 :) Do you have any other video cards you could try, either PCI or AGP? Sorry if that's too obvious

no beeps at all. I have tried removing the memory stick just to see if the mobo responds and I get the beep codes for the missing ram so I know that is working.

These parts, are they all known-working parts?

Try pulling out all non-essential cards, unplugging all the drives from the power supply and data cables, and firmly re-seat the CPU cartridge, the video card and the memory. If it has a CMOS Reset jumper, unplug the computer and reset the CMOS for good measure. Double-check that your monitor's cable doesn't have bent pins or something. Good luck! :)
