Stumped! Ram and graphics card won't work together.

I swapped out some ram to test on a known good setup using my computer. It worked fine. When I switched back It wouldn't boot, I didn't panic just re-seated the ram. Nothing. After hours of testing and part swapping I've narrowed it down to: the graphics card is good, the ram is good, but they won't work together anymore. Ram passes memtest. Graphics card will work beside other ram. Ram will work beside other graphics card. Both the ram and graphics card work fine separately. I've cleared cmos and even flashed bios.

How do I determine which part is bad? Is there a bios setting I'm missing?I'm stumped! Any Ideas?

My setup: Biostar A880GB+
Phenom II x6 3.0Ghz
Zotac 550Ti
8Gb XMS3 1333Mhz DDR3

My other setup used for part swapping:
MSI FM2 A75MA
AMD A10 5800k
Radeon 5670
8GB HyperX 1600Mhz DDR3

It doesn't boot, but how far is it getting? Are fans spinning? or are they just spinning for a second? Are you hearing any beep codes?

Make sure all your power connectors are re-connected (motherboard, video card, etc). What caused you to take out the RAM in the first place?

never overclocked

fans spin, no beep codes, hdd led flashes like its booting but video doesn't post or display anything.

All motherboard and sockets except cpu have been removed and re-seated and the problem persists. if I swap either the ram or graphics card for a different component it works properly.

I originally swapped ram to test some I had purchased used on the cheap. It worked fine the problem started when i swapped back.

Gotcha, have you cleared the CMOS with the original RAM back on the board? If so, you might need to go the route of unplugging the power from the wall, removing the battery, and letting it sit that way way for up to an hour to make sure you are getting a good clear.

Can a compatibility issue arise suddenly from a combination that worked before?

These are the same parts that have worked together for a year.

Have you seen compatibility issues pop up like this? I had assumed this wasn't possible. But I also have to admit that I'm stumped. If you have seen such a thing before or has been known to happen I'd be interested to hear.

I had another thought. I assume you board is just reading the SPD settings on the RAM modules. If the other RAM you had was tighter than the originals, the board could be trying to run the stick at too tight a timing. If you run the computer with the sticks that work, and then set a looser timing in the bios, that may allow you to boot when putting the original sticks back in.

Ok I tried pulling battery and played with timing. No help.
I found out that the speaker is disconnected and none onboard. Plugged in and I get 2 short beeps. That is a memory error. But it goes away with graphics card removed or different card.
I also found that it also will not function with the other set of ram modules. So I have this card 550ti that will not work on this board at all but will work in the other. And my other card HD6570 will work on either board.

Definitely strange. When you reset the bios and put in the memory that works, can you tell that the BIOS has been reset?

Yes I can tell BIOS was reset.Had to reset time.

The BIOS is correctly identifying the different Ram Modules. They both work fine, just not with the video card installed.
