Stumbleupon - Must have Firefox extension

I've been using an extension called Stumbleupon for a while now, maybe you've heard of it. Basically you tell it what subjects you're interested in, It adds a bar to your FF browser (which is quite customizable) and you hit the "Stumble!" button, and it takes you to a random site that most other people liked. You can find so many great websites/links that you would never find normally. It's really fantastic. Such a boredom reducer. This extension alone makes Firefox worth having over any other browser.

You're obviously not going to like every page you stumble on, for that, there are Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down icon on the toolbar. Or you can just hit Stumble again, you don't have to rate every site, or any site for that matter. You can give a thumbs down to pages you don't like, and a thumbs up to pages you do like. The pages you like will be saved in your profile and you can easily access them again from your Stumbleupon profile page. Here's my Stumbleupon page for example: http://adaman.stumbleupon.com/ (lots of great links there too, of course ). Stumbleupon hasn't been mentioned here at Anandtech for a while (it was a thread here that got me to try it in the first place), so I thought i'd mention it again for those who missed it. I've really enjoyed having it and recommend it highly, obviously. Lots of great highly rated sites/links. Hope you like it too.

I can attest to this great extension. I've also been using it for quite some time and I have found A LOT of really great stuff related to the interest inventory that you fill out/can edit. If you don't have it, get it! I guarentee you will find things that you like with it.

How could you lose interest? Losing interest in Stumbleupon is losing interest in the internet 😛 - I can understand not everyone will like it though.

Same. That and any interesting sites I did find using it and forgot to bookmark never appeared again. 🙁
