Stumbled across a Hemi Challenger today!

Unbelievable find....went to look at a '72 Dart project car, and the guy had a '70 Challenger R/T Hemi in the garage! :Q

Guy's dad bought it in '72, has 62k miles on it. It's root beer brown with orange pinstriping now (how '72 is that???), and all the Hemi and Challenger emblems have been removed and filled. Total stealth......

Anyway, it was originally Plum Crazy has the pistol-grip 4-speed, Dana 60 4.10 rear, nice black interior. Engine is stroked out to around 510ci :Q

He'd sell the Challenger.........for around $60k The Dart turned out to be a real POS, but seeing the Hemi car made the trip worthwhile! Now to figure out how to come up with the cash......

Beautiful Hemi. My buddy has a 73 Hemi Cuda. Those are the real Mopar's, not the crap that's out today.

I know guy, a real Mopar head, who has restored dozens of Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouths. He had Cuda's, Super Bees, and some early '60's Imperials including a former cop car. Sweet cars all of them.
