Stuff to do in Vegas

So I'm going to Las Vegas and that area around it for a couple of days during spring break. I was just wondering what things there are to do if you can't gamble (not of age yet). I hear there is actually quite a bit of stuff you can do besides gambling, but I would lik to know what. I'm not staying out there for a week, just a few days.

go to the Hoover dam, and take a dam tour.

also, spend a few hours at the circus circus dome, Go to game works. its near MGM grand area. Its right in the building on the las vegas blvd that has the M&M world and coke world or soemthing like that. that's what i did when i went there beforei could gamble.

Every casino on the strip has a couple of shows.

Many "locals" have shows and also some of the downtown casinos.

Best bet is to use Vegas.Com to get an idea of what is available.

Therre are also other entertainment attractions. Do a search on Vegas threads; I and a few others have posted alternatives in there.

Red Rocks (Red Canyon?) park east of Vegas is supposed to be cool. Will you have a car? If so, roadtrip up to Scotty's Junction and check out the Test Site.

Probably going to rent a car while I'm out there. I've always wanted to drive on those 80mph speed limit roads...

you won't be able to rent a car if you're not old enough to gamble out there.... most reputable car rental companies will balk at anyone between 21-25 and will refuse rent under that.

Isn't the vegas gambling age 18?

I thought it was 21? Oh well, well my parents are renting a car, so maybe I'll get to drive it now that I have my license...

Yes, gambling age is 21. No, I will not go to an Indian casino.

I wasn't suggesting you go to an Indian casino, I was just wondering if their age limit was 21 as well. (I'd like to go waist some money, but not bad enough to do any real research quite yet) I doubt there are any of those around Vegas either way, would be tough to compete with I would imagine.

If that made sense, it's been a long day.

It would be completley and totally illegal for anyone under 18 to drive a rental car. If you get into an accident you will be completley uncovered by any insurnace and seriously fuxxored. Don't do it, especially if you're a driving noob.

Legal speed limit on I-15 in some places is 75 just north of Vegas toward Utah.

Gaming age is 21. They will ID you if you look anywhere near 25 or less.
