Stuff to do in either Atlanta or Hilton Head Island, SC

Going to both places, gonna be staying on the beach at Hilton Head for a week then 2 days in Atlanta. The wife wants to go to the Atlanta Aquarium (we have kids btw, so family friendly) but I'm sure there is a lot more to do.

edit: Whoops, wrong forum. Mods move to OT please! 🙂

Georgia Aquarium and the Coca-Cola museum are close to each other, CNN Center is ~5 minutes away. Plan all three on the same day. Apart from that, there isn't much else to do in the ATL.

On Hilton Head, go to Coligny Plaza. Cool shops. I love the restaurant Steamers (on the corner across from the Pigly Wiggly) and the Big Bamboo (if you're coming from the beach, look for some weird toy shop, and head up the steps)...

Atlanta - Stone Mountain Park, GA Aquarium, Mall of Georgia, Atlanta Zoo, Civil War sites, Centennial Park, Fox Theater, etc.

atlanta is wonderful, check out the aquarium and coke. if you weren't with the fam, i'd suggest going to a strip club.

+ Road Atlanta if you like cars and are going to be in Atlanta at a time they are having an event. Kids get in free.

There's also the Fernbank Museum, Braves games, and more.

Also check the Atlanta Journal Constitution for upcoming events.
