I guess that's useful if you are being chased by dogs and want to out-hover them.

I liked the comment, just stick the fans on a chair and you'll have a flying chair. Maybe even use a broom and you'll have a flying broom.

You won't even need another object like a car or tree to fuxxorz yourself on a bike then...

Read a choose-your-adventure book with a flying bike. Think about half the endings you died.

That is nice, but its rider cant weigh more than 160 pounds. That limits it to manlets and small girls. Also a six minute flight time is pretty weak, even for a prototype.

Six minute's? all that complexity and expense for 6 lousy minutes, no way. All the added bulk makes it almost useless as a conventional bike anyway..

The fact that they can get it flying at all with a 150# payload is impressive, but battery tech still has a long way to go before this sort of thing will be anything more than a curiosity.

That's not what I thought of when you said "A flying bicycle". I was thinking of a pedal-powered airplane. Those were decades ago; I wonder what could be done with carbon fiber now?

It needs more power!, throw a Dixie Chopper engine on that thing and fly across town!..
