Stuff doesn't taste as good as it used to.

I just had some Oreos after not having had any for a couple of years...
They just taste like sugary shit. 🙁

Diet coke and cigarettes will kill your taste as well.

I have found that my sense of taste has matured with age. I have found basic fake sugars to less than appealing now.

I did rock a twinkie for nostalgia's sake and actually enjoyed half of it before the aftertaste set in.

They have likely changed the recipe over the years to Save $ and/or cut out certain unhealthy things. Taste does change with Age though.

here is a simple trick to make things taste great. don't eat for a while. it make most everything taste awesome.

True.
I tried it in the past after i had periods where i would not enjoy food anymore and did not feel well.
After 36 hours of not eating and drinking only some water, everything tastes so much better and i could actually enjoy my food and drinks again and treasure and savor the moment as well...

Yup. I used to subsist on a steady diet of Reese's peanut butter cups and Lucky Charms, and now I find it difficult to eat either one more than once a year. Tastes mature.

My wife usually bus the hippie natural Oreos. Few months ago she bought the oreos brand and they tasted like crap.

They have used so many chemicals to cheapen the product it's not worth buying anymore
