So, I'm pretty sure I'm going to study abroad Spring Semester '08.
I'm sticking with English speaking countries, mainly because from the people who I've talked to who have gone to both non-english speaking countries and english speaking countries for study abroad much prefered english speaking. Unless they were bilingual. 3-4 Months doesn't seem long enough to pick up a language, and the only language I've had so far is French, two years of it in highschool, four years ago.
So, it's come down to New Zealand and Australia. To those who live there, or have been to either country, which would you choose? If I went to Australia I'd be in Melbourne, studying at the University of Melbourne. In New Zealand I'd be about 90 minutes south of Auckland.
