Why are jocks usually dumb?
what makes someone a jock? someone who is athletic? someone who is built?

i don't see where muscular athletic people are any dumber than the gen population, in fact, i'll venture they are above average in intelligence on the whole.

The National IQ test in the Netherlands always asks several groups of people to participate. Bodybuilders scored under average.

They scored about 20 points lower than the canabis smokers, who had just smoked canabis before the show, and also been tested prior to that. Without having used canabis they scored about 5-10 points lower than with
(Probably because of being more relaxed after smoking)
so you are saying that this study (sited by the OP) is bunk?

actually, after further investigating, it does say that aerobic activity fights brain shrinkage. those who engage in non-aerobic (stretching-and-toning training) "did not experience any change in their brains, but "the aerobic group showed a substantial increase in brain volume."

No, I'm saying that a lot of professional sportsmen didn't have much to start with in the first place :D

So you are saying if they didn't work out, these guys would be even dumber?
You think you are more intelligent than the Governator? You think you are more intelligent that Sly? You think you are more intelligen than Bus....ok, you might be right regarding him:laugh:
