Study/reading room Albums

My roommates and I are turning one of our extra rooms into a study of sorts - you know, a quiet room with no t.v. used for reading and such. I thought it would be nice to load the ol' cd changer up with some tranquil and/or brainy music to aid in said studying - any suggestions?

So far I have:
-Requim for a Dream ST
-Last of the Mohicans ST

Yeah, I have a short list, I just started this project a few moments ago 😉

I find Heavy/Thrash/Death metal versatile enough for any mood I'm in and soothing enough to keep me focused.

Anything by the Six Parts Seven, Tortoise, Do Make Say Think

I wouldn't think the Requiem soundtrack would make for good studying/reading music lol. And I've never heard the other one so no comment there.

Most music for me is difficult because I immediately concentrate on it rather than what I'm studying (which, coincidentally, is usually music). That being said, much minimalist music fits the bill for me: Philip Glass, Terry Riley, Steve Reich, La Monte Young, John Adams, etc. Again speaking for myself, I lean towards piano music as for me it is one of the least interesting timbres.
