hmmm that's interesting since my wife is my cousin 15 places removed on my fathers side. actually that is seriously true.

You gotta love Korean Geneologies. We can both trace our roots back about 30 generations or so. we both have a common grandfather 30 generations back. Her father is about 3 generations older than my dad. In traditional Korean terms I would be required to call her grandmother. :)

actually according to Korean Law my wife and I aren't allowed to marry. we did it via International Marriage License via the American consulate. :)

Like i said, Korean geneologies are VERY interesting.

I've got a friend who is probably going to marry her third cousin. She said her parents couldn't complain that his family wasn't good enough...

That's because all of their relatives from North Carolina are up there trying to hit on them...

Marrying cousins isn't risky but if it keeps happenning time after time over the generations severe problems will occur.

PGold in the house!

Isn't a risk of "twice as much" still a significant risk of defects?

Aren't there laws about marrying cousins?

What Woody Allen did is still wrong...oh wait, wrong thread....
