NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ, United States (UPI) -- U.S. scientists have discovered the active ingredient in marijuana interferes with synchronized activity between neurons in the hippocampus of rats.
The authors suggest action of tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, might explain why marijuana impairs memory.
