fucking high school and they still talk like this? It's funny, our education is an abomination, and the top rated countries education? Yeah, you don't see flamming retards jumping up talking about "Touchin' yo heart" - it's more along the lines of a ruler across the face for saying something this fucking stupid 🙄

and yet he still had the drive and intelligence to know what was right. the teacher did not. As he says yes he dropped out and only then did he understand the importance of education.
Seems the teacher is useless and shouldn't be teaching. This kid was 100% right.

I don't understand this sudden infatuation with this "fighting against the man" with teachers and the education system.
I do believe that there are fundamental issues with education and shit but the fact of the matter is that school sucks, get over it. You don't get bad grades because the school is shit (usually anyway), you get bad grades because you're not studying enough (Unless you're in engineering)
Its hard to make high level engineering "entertaining" There is a ton of material, and if your teacher is horsing around, you aren't going to get it all.

If you're too fucking stupid to read a worksheet or packet of paper, there is no fucking hope for you. It's a god damn classroom, not an orchestra dance play.

Part of the problem is there is no room for improvisation in the classroom these days. Everyone is teaching to the test, and now with such strict evaluations and performance based testing the kids are basically either taking a standards/common core test or learning specifically what will be on the next one in 2 weeks.
It really bothers me when I'm in the elementary schools in the districts I work at, and all these little kids are in computer labs with headphones on staring at a monitor all day testing.
I remember interacting much more in school, but I guess now it's all about accountability and statistics. Have to get those kids accepted to college, whatever it takes.

Meh. Hard to make an assessment here. Can't help but like the kid because he does seem to care about what he's saying. He could also be bitching because he's a fuckup who refuses to do what he's been told to do in school, and now he's trying to turn that on the teacher because taking responsibility for being a fuckup not an option for him.

I just mean it can't be both ways...either the teachers are teaching very specifically with the time and requirements they have, or they break off the leash and teach the way they feel the kids will understand and pay attention to.
The problem with the latter is the test comes along and they all fail because they weren't taught specifically what was required of the state, then the teacher has to find a new occupation.

I stand behind for expecting more. He'll need to learn to pick and choose his battles. The teacher is not the right one to take his issue up with. If he can take responsibility for his education going forward then i'd expect good things from him.

You know, people's education level has nothing to do with their intelligence. THAT'S what's wrong with America. Fucktards strut around like they're something special for going to school, when the reality is they've done exactly what my cat's done. They've been taught, and repeated what they've been taught. There's damned few real thinkers in the world. It's a minuscule percentage that prop up everyone else that do the grunt work, and odds are you aren't in that small percentage...
