I believe I speak for everyone in America when I say this, fuck lawyers.

It's not like tort lawyers and ambulance chasers don't drive me nuts, but overall that's like saying "fuck doctors." The law is a complex thing. The one thing I do dislike is the whole medieval guild system that lets them keep their fees so high. But when you need one they're nice to have on your side.

Then please do not reduce this to piddling little ratially motivated trial and instead look at the big picture.

You mean the big picture that the activists don't give a flying fuck about any details whatsoever in their path to justice? Who they step on along the way? Who's businesses they burn to the ground? Who's jobs are lost? Who's lives are upended by their actions?

Protestors disrupt, yes, they annoy, yes, they waste time, yes, they are a nuisance, yes. But, when you talk about burning down businesses or stepping on people, you are confusing RIOTING with PROTESTING.

It is a VERY ugly situation. There are cases daily where "bad apple" police officers do bad/stupid/harmful things that result in death or injury. I agree, the vast majority of police officers are good people trying to protect the community, but, the entire system is, and has been, out of control for decades. It may be close to reaching a tipping point, better to let people air their grievances even if it is disruptive, provided it be peaceful.
