What an ass. She spit in your face? Boo-fricking-hoo, suck it up and suspend/expel her or something.

I'd like to know why the student went apeshit on her, first. I wouldn't spit in someones face and threaten them unless it was a REAL good reason.

Also people who beat their kids are pvssies, and are too retarded to discipline with anything but physical intimidation. Sorry you suck at life so much, but don't take it out on your kids.

There should be no reason EVER to spit in an administrator's face. The fact that the student did in fact spit in an administrator's face shows that the parents are pvssies for raising a piece of sh!t kid.

I've been mad at my teachers and principles before, but I showed enough respect not to do some ignorant crap like that.

I rarely if ever got spanked as a kid. I can only recall two instances. Once, I stole a knife from a store when I was about 5. My parents smacked my ass once they found out I had it at home and then proceeded to take me to the store, return it and apologize.

The second time, i think I was being a brat in a store b/c I wanted a transformers toy or something like that and I kept falling out in the floor and whining b/c they wouldn't buy it for me. My mom grabbed me by the arm and smacked my ass. I shut up real quick and never did that crap again.

Funny thing is, when this sort of thing happened in the 80s, people in the store looked at that and thought "There's a parent that has control." Nowadays, parents just let their kids act up anywhere... restaurants, stores, movie theaters, ANYWHERE and they don't say a damn thing to them. They just turn and look at everyone in embarrassment as if to say "I know he's a handful, feel pity for me." EFF YOU!! Take control of your badass kid you IDIOT!!!

And what happens to these little prize winners? They grow up to be little snot-nosed brats who don't respect authority b/c their parents never showed any towards them.

Parents are too busy trying to be their kids' friend than parents and they don't want to do anything to make their "friend" not like them.

And what if the PA called her a "ni**er"? I'd call that good motivation for a spit in the face. You don't know the story, there is no explanation of why this happened, only that it did.

The instances that you're speaking of with your parents are not abuse. My parent's gave me a good slap in the ass once or twice, and thats not abusive. I did not fear them afterwards, I simply "got it". I'm talking about BEATING.

Besides, the authority doesn't deserve respect outright. I don't give respect to people in higher positions simply because they're in higher positions. I give respect where it's due.

You're not being abusive or flaming me at all, so I'm showing you respect right now. Do you get what I'm trying to say?

why do people think words give you the right do be violent towards someone?

i highly doubt the n-bomb was dropped or else Sharpton and Jackson would already be on the scene. even if that were the case when do two wrongs make a right? never. i'd bet the student is a juvenile delinquent over the stretch that the AP did anything worthy of being spat at. unfortunately, the kneejerk reaction of slapping the brat in retaliation will likely get the AP in some trouble though.

Talk about kneejerk reactions, all these people in here saying the girl deserved to get slapped. You don't even know why she did it.

What, you don't think that spitting in some peoples faces is a proper way to let them know they're douche bags? Sorry, but some people do deserve it, and before you defend the PA AGAIN, try waiting to see if you can get the whole story.

We don't need to know why she did it, there is no reason ever to spit on someone. As far as I am concerned spitting on someone is no less serious than taking a swing at them and should be met with a swift punch in the face. The AP was restrained to do nothing more than a simple slap.

"Don't know what she did."

Honestly, what could the principle possible have done? Say no too many times? Say the student was being a brat? I highly doubt any racial slurs were made. And can you be so naive to not recognize the maturity of eleven year olds and how they act out against everything? There are some really mature kids out there, hell, I was one (mostly cause I was shy and reserved).

Don't forget the high-5 to the AP (not teacher) in the back room.

#2. You're not manly enough to rip out someone's throat.

Restraint was definetly in order now matter how bad the punk deserved it. Same thing happened with an 8 year old here in TN. Only he spit in a police officers face. No one could calm the 8 year old so they called the police in as a scare tactic.

:disgust: Yet somehow punching a child in the throat is manly.

See how stupid violence sounds. There's almost always a better way to handle a situation.

Yeah, suing the kid would never get anywhere. And the court fees would kill her.

The kid deserved it. Man, kids nowadays need a good ass whooping.

I tutor kids like this, from similar, if not worse school systems (Chicago ghetto). I know exactly why she did it: lack of respect for authority, parents who don't give a ******, entitlement. Parents in these type of schools look at school as nothing more than a place to keep the kids. They don't care about it being important, about what their kids do during the day (even if they show up at school). They will bitch if their kid gets in trouble, b/c somehow, the school failed them. The parents don't trust the system b/c they were raised that way, and they raise their kids with the same BS mentality.

This little twat probably got a verbal smakc-down from the AP, telling her that she needs to get her act together, she's a waste of space, whatever. Whatever it was, I'm sure the AP was right to do it. The little beotch should be expelled, and the AP should be promoted.

If my kid spit in a teachers face and he got slapped, I'd say good! You got what you deserved didn't you.

Now for those of you saying she shouldn't have hit him, at what point does a person have the right to defend themselves? Does he have to slap her? IMO spitting in someone's face is pretty much assault right there. I think she was justified and if any of you idiots don't think so, come on over and I'll spit in your face and you can stand there and take it.

No, -1. Beating is not good, ever.

How about beating off? That usually makes me feel GREAT!

Just as long as you don't "spit" on anyones face ;)

Beating does not equal physical discipline. You need to separate the concepts and the intents.

If porn has taught anything it's that after beating, you must "spit" it on someone's face.

I'm the one who understands that. I have the feeling that several people think I'm one of those crazies who are against ANY kind of physical discipline, and that is completely untrue. These guys are using the word "beating" and "ass-whooping", and I'm responding accordingly. I shouldn't need to clarify myself like this.
