the more i read about this, the more upset i get. i know this takes some effort, but i was hoping for the ATOT effect on sending your comments and dissatisfaction on how this was handled to the president of the board of trustees at fort bend independent school district at steve.smelley@fortbendisd.com

BULLSH!T

That's completely unjustified. Am I going to get expelled for building a replica of my school in The Sims?

Ive never played the sims. Can you give them guns?

HUGE overreaction.

Wow.

Expelled for something so trivial? That's going to stick on the high school transcripts to colleges too.

Nope, but you can set them on fire or make them piss themselves though. Better if you ask me.

Overreaction. Someone at my college was working on a CS map of the school. Wouldn't have been a big deal at the time. But this soon after the VT massacre, people overreact.

thats total BS, but if the school learned of this and did nothing, and weeks later the kid pulls a School shooting, they'd be screwed.

lose lose situation

while it may be ridiculous, its the idiot's fault for doing this 2 weeks after a tragedy. what did he expect the reaction to be?

i don't blame the school. if there was a recent school shooting, you wouldn't go into school with a fake gun to test the waters, would you?

Damn, I went to Clements High School!.. Class of 1997. :Q

Good ol' Sugar Land.. yuppie town in the southwest region of Houston. I can't believe they overreacted like that.

WTF, he made the damned map in Counter-Strike.

He was planning on playing as the CTs and rescuing the hostages.

Now that they've repressed him though, he just changed teams. :frown:

i think it's an overreaction but still what the kid did was not smart. it's in bad taste regardless of how harmless it is.

wow, huge overreaction.

What is next, if I made a map of my neighborhood am I going to be arrested?

So it is more dangerous to make a map than it is to own a gun?

Stupid PC world.

How could you possibly compare bringing a fake gun to school to creating a Counter-Strike level that looks like your school?
