Any places sell high-end (as close to a gaming one as you can) laptop with special discounts for students? Thank you.

Most major brands like IBM, Apple, HP, etc. do have educational discounts. I think they are handled directly with the university the student attends though.

Check out your campus bookstore or your academic department for specific campus deals.
However, you can get educational discounts directly through IBM, HP/Compaq, Dell, etc. They just probly won't be as good as if you get a special deal that your school has set up.
Lastly, don't expect your school to have a gaming laptop. Your best bet for that is to configure an HP/Compaq or Dell, since IBM doesn't really go towards the gaming side. GL

As far as Apple: go to the Apple Store (store.apple.com), scroll to the bottom, and choose the educational store. Discounts are usually more than enough to make up for sales tax. The actual discount varies greatly. I saved $400 when I bought my PowerBook, but at the same time the discount on a low end iBook was only $50.
