Apparently the kid unprovoked, struck the girl in the face and proceeded to cut her on the neck and cheek with a box cutter. He then handed the cutter to another student and walked away as if nothing had happened.

(June 4, 2004) ? WEBSTER ? A 17 year old Webster Schroeder High School student was arrested and charged with a felony for assaulting an 18 year old female student at the school just before 7:30 a.m.
Jacob Sweany, was charged with first-degree assault for cutting a fellow student on the face and cheek with a box cutter. The assault occurred in the school?s cafeteria.
The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to Rochester General Hospital where she was treated and released.
Sweany was arraigned in town court and is scheduled to return to court at 10 a.m. on June 9. He was remanded to the Monroe County Jail for a mental health evaluation.
Webster school district officials are in the process of conducting their own investigation.
