why not buy a 560 Ti (since you are not interested in AMD currently) to hold you off for the step up? that way if you miss the step up you sell it and aren't out all that much money.

I had a glass full of low-fat milk, poured that down the drain, and was going to pour in some full-fat milk and drink it, but I haven't bought any full-fat milk yet. I'm thirsty. Wat I do wrong, plz advise?

I had a glass full of low fat milk and want full fat milk, but full fat milk isn't released yet. I could keep drinking water until it gets released, but then I wouldn't have milk. Should I satisfy my thirst with water, or will the advent of full fat milk be worth the wait?

 At least be fair in the analogy.

stop buying nasty skim, low, and no fat milks... nor *shudder* fake milks.
Buy only full fat milk from now on. That way you will not go thirsty...

PS. I see what you did there, very nice.

Buy a 560, doesn't have to be Ti or 448 cores. This be enough for SC2, Wow, Diablo. When you do get the GTX 680 or whatever they are going call it. Use the 560 as physics card or a back up. I myself still have GTX 260 55nm in the garage, may come in handy if i needed a card for any reason.

670 almost definitely before the 3 months is up, the 680 most likely not. So if you are buying with a plan to step-up, go into it expecting a 670, not a 680.
