Stuck red pixel returns every day

I have an Asus LCD that I bought from Amazon. At the top of the screen, near the center, there is a bright red pixel. I tried massaging it out, I tried using jScreenfix (java applet), and although the jScreenfix makes it go away, it comes back. Each day when I do a cold boot, it's back again. Is there anything else I can try, or am I "stuck" with a wonky pixel? Thank you.

I used to had a white stuck pixel, I fixed it using a small pen tip with a soft cloth and started to scrub it carefully but firmly with the monitor turned On and then Off, it never came back, give it a try.
