Currently got a i5 2500k build with a 10.8 inch long 7970 that is housed in a antec 300 .

Couple weeks the plan is to swap everything into a new bigger case as the 7970 is cramped in there, barely fit the card in and the 300 is gonna be used for a spare pc build.

Been using mostly antec cases for 6 years mostly the antec 900 the 1200 and now the 300 and the only case that seems to grab my interest is the df-85 but then i came across people who seem to be loving the HAF 932.

My main concern is needing at least 3-4 fans, low or medium fanspeed that when on full rpm doesn't sound like a jet but has antec 900 capable cooling but in a larger package, and has much more room.

Does the HAF 932 deliver in those departments?Anyone who did a swap of sorts?I shop mostly at frys and the price for the df-85 doesn't bother me,just the fact the df-85 has 7 freaking fans and all i want is antec 900 capable cooling but in a larger case.

Thanks for any input anyone may have.:)

I have a HAF922 that works pretty well. 2x 200mm fans (front in, top out) and the standard 120mm rear out fan. I added a 120mm fan (bottom in) and a Lamptron fan controller... so now I can throttle them down when I'm just working and bump them up if I need when gaming.

There is plenty of room in the 922, obviously moreso in the 932... I think the 932 has 2x 230mm fans (not 3 like it says in the NE review) so you could crank those down and still get good airflow without it sounding like a 707 on takeoff.

I have built computers in both the 932 and the 922. Both meet your fan noise requirements.

The 932 is quite large and will give you decent cable management, and lots of space to work with. Also has enough space for watercooling.

The 922, is a big mid tower case, but still a mid tower. Not as good cable management options, but still plenty of room for 95% of all builds. With your parts I think you and your wallet would be happier with the 922.
