Hey all...yeaterday I got some "new" parts home, secifically a A64 X2 5200+ sAM2 and 4gb of Corsair DDR2-800.

My current setup is:
-WinXP Pro SP2
-OCZ Modstream 450W
-ASRock 939Dual-SATA2
-Athlon64 X2 4600+ s939
-3gb DDR400
-WD 320gb SATAII
-Palit 9600GT 512mb PCIe
-SB X-Fi XtremeGamer
-D-Link DWA-552
-LG DVD-ROM
-LG CD Burner
-Floppy 3.5"

Like I said, yesterday I hooked up my new parts on the AM2CPU board. Plug all this on the mobo, switch jumpers on the right position, boot up and then BAM! All is stuck on "Checking NVRam" and nothing happens.

Here's what i've done so far:
-Updated the bios to the latest 2.30 version
-Cleared CMOS with battery and jumpers
-Load "default settings" from bios and restarted
-Switch memory sticks around and trying only 1 at a time
-Checked all the cables
-Scratch my behind...

Nothing works...

I reinstall my older parts and the computer boots perfectly.

What could this be? I know it's not an easy problem and after reading lots of things on the net, I realise there's not that much options other than the ones I already tried...

Can anyone have any tips on this?
Thanks a lot!

Ok found it!

I only had to disable the "Cool & Quiet" feature in the bios since the 5200+ Brisbane CPU is not 100% "compatible with the AM"CPU board.
