Stuck in Splinter Cell

I need help.

The last level at the Chinese Embassy...the one where you start in front of the restaurant with the cook and two guards inside.

OK, I found the ladder in the kitchen, climbed up, across the boards, thru the building, slid across the cable, hand-over-handed on the ledge, dropped into the airshaft into the small area with the ornate doors (jammed, gun turret on other side) and the storage closet.

NOW FREAKIN' WHAT? :disgust: I've been here for two damn days. I threw grenades at everything including the gray wall behind the oriental curtain. I tried jumping back up into the vent but couldn't reach that.

I even restarted the level dropped down into the courtyard instead of going inside..which ended the game.

I have tried everything...well, obviously not.

A hint, please?

Sheesh, Mike....you were stuck in Max Payne 2, and now Splinter Cell!

Thanks BlueWeasel. I used to be a lot smarter at these type things. Now I'm just a dumbass. I can run'n'gun with the best of them, though. FPS all the way. :evil:

I won't read the whole FAQ...really, I despise cheating. I only do it if I'm REALLY stuck...like now. Afterall, I want my money's worth.

Man, I'm telling you I TRIED to "wall crawl" thru that space before and it didn't work!!!! You have to be in just the right spot, I guess.

I'm at the end now...climbing up the cliff...getting attacked by dogs and shot by snipers. That, I can figure out for myself.
