Stuck in POP Warrior Within

I'm stuck where I've unlocked the vault door and am fighting the Empress for the first time. Basically, I'm able to get her down to about 1/2 health before she finally kills me. I've only got 1 sand tank, so I'm already limited from the start.

So far, avoiding her works fairly well, but her health just takes so long to chip away. The guides at GameFAQS don't go into much detail on how to beat her, except it's so easy. Well, not for me.

Anybody got this far or past her?

I am stuck at fighting the second guy made out of metal, the guy you have to slash his legs and climb up on top of him and crack his head 🙁, this is the second guy like this btw. I dont have much life at him, and hes a b*tch. 🙂

Actually, I found the metal guys to be pretty easy. Just keep rolling until you are able to get behind him, and then go into slow motion. Chop at his legs until he falls, and then climb up on his back and chop away.

The only problem I've found with them is there is apparently no way to jump off their back, and you just have to let him throw you off. Have you found the same thing? If it's impossible to jump off, then I could see where it would be hard if you don't have a lot of health.

thats my problem.. you take a massive health hit when he tosses you.. 🙂 I never thought to slo-mo on him though, rofl.. I am off to try that now .. thanks!
