Stuck in GTA 4

I just killed Playboy X and am around 60% completion yet I have nothing to do. No one appears on my map and I can only call Brucie, Dwayne, Little Jacob, Packie, or Kate for non-mission related stuff. Also, Kate doesn't answer the phone.

What can I do?

Make sure there isn't a white or gray icon on the map somewhere that's hard to see. I don't remember which ones those were, but I didn't see a couple of mission contacts initially since it blended in with the map.

Check your e-mail too in case there's something there.

i believe that's around the time you see a question mark near the helitour pad, south east side algonquin. You meet Francis McReary, the cop. Am pretty sure the game doesn't rely on you to trigger the events. You complete missions, receive a call and a new waypoint or two on the map.

As far as the timing is concerned, you can play the missions differently, so some people will have a different experience with mission availability. The PlayboyX/Dwayne Forge missions can be played any time after they appear.

If you are not seeing anything, it's because of what Jello said. The letters are hard to see. You may have a ? at the extreme south end of Algonquin, and you may also have a gray R on the South end of Algonquin for, Ray Boccino. You may also have a gray U in central Algonquin for the United Liberty Paper. You have Kate's number, so you have done the first Packie McReary mission. If you also did Three Leaf Clover, you could have missions from Derrick and Gerald McReary.
