Stuck in a rut

I have been stuck in a rut over the past month and need to get out quickly. It seems like all I do is hang out with the same group of friends and drink (alot). My goals are begining to fade away and I need to get back in the swing of things but it seems a lot harder now than ever before. What do you guys do when you are stuck in a rut?

change your patterns. Stop going out drinking with the friends for a month. If you have a habit you can usually break it within 30 days

I think that is most of my problem right there. Two months ago I was in the best shape of my life. Was going to the dojo at least 4 times a week, running 3-4 miles every other day but now I have turned into a turd.

Make a list of 20 things you want to accomplish in the next month.

Make copies of it... tape it everywhere you are regularly, especially in places where other people can see it. Don't be shamed by the goals...

Do the goals, and hope for encouragement.

The best ones to do are ones where you have to enroll in something... because you feel more obligated to attend.
