Stuck/Dead Pixel Policies

Real quick question....is there any retailer/manufacturer that offers a 0 dead/stuck pixel guarentee in the US? I got my X223w Acer recently from NewEgg with one stuck pixel. The flashing software fixes didn't work so i tried the pressure method and now there are marks around the pixel 🙁 Guess I pushed too hard
 
Well, if you buy it locally from like best Buy you can just take it in and tell the CS person it doesn't work. Then exchange it.

They don't test them before processing the return...they will test it afterwards and offer it as a working open box item though most likely.
 
Dell, their monitors are relatively decent (depends on model) and within a 30 day period you can pretty much exchange it for any reason. I'm more likely to pick up a monitor for as cheap as possible in places like Best Buys due to the return policy if I need it ASAP. If I can wait, I usually order from Dell, again due to their return policy.
 
I bought this for $269AR shipped, using my AMEX clear. I don't have to worry about bad pixels becaue AMEX will take the product back (under $300) if I don't like it...and I get 1% back. A great card, and I have already use this feature on an ASUS LCD from the egg with 3 birght pixels.
 
IIRC Acer's policy states that if you have any dead pixels in the center third of the screen you can get it replaced. I don't know of any manufacturer that actually provides a 0 dead/stuck pixels policy. However, from some places when you buy it you can purchase that warranty but it's pretty expensive.
 
Stuck/Dead pixel policies are BS. You and I did not pay for a partially working monitor, we paid for a fully working monitor. If your monitor arrives with a dead pixel that you aren't okay with, send it back, regardless of company. If they refuse, hit it with a hammer or something and say it came that way so they will replace it.
