depends on what you mean "complete"... all i did was uninstall the display drivers through the control panel (add remove programs obviously) I did not use any third part uninstaller to remove them

EDIT:: and now programs are crashing very often, like Firefox and IE which never happened before... grrr. If my PSU is not providing the power for the computer, how would the system be acting?

Make sure you have the nForce chipset drivers installed.

the CPU is a little high, but it is still good considering the fan isnt spinning ;)
GPU is slightly above normal, but that is BC that fan is turned down as well (modded with Zalman HSF)

I like a quiet compy! barely over a whisper and its 2 feet from me!

I put my 6600GT back in... still had a BSoD on boot up...

so i switched my RAM from the two orange slots to the two yellow slots and so far so good... I really hope this is just a power thing... otherwise, erg.

EDIT:: im getting ready to go into KILL mode right about now... i have been having an issue with corrupt files and programs crashing... I am going to post more about it in the TS page and will link there...

Does it BSOD in safe mode? Did you remove all traces of the nVidia firewall and reboot afterwards?

Did you install the AMD drivers?

Can you run 3Dmark?

OK, after I thought about it a little, the BSoD did not occur during boot up that time (though the compy did BSoD occasionally with the 7800GT) it happend just a few minutes into the OS.

I cannot run 3DMark becuase i cant get it to install (see thread that i will link at end of this post)

and the AMD drivers were installed a ways back, when i first go the CPU.

I never installed the firewall, it asked and i said no. Safe mode worked ok, no probelms there.

but the BSoD is not a predicable thing, meaning it doesnt seems to be triggerd by a specific thing that i do (at lest not that i am aware of)

Here is the thread i mentioned, just started it in TS.

OK, I ran a memtest, but I used my moms compy as I need to use mine... both sticks failed :( RMAing to Newegg to get replacements... kinda suck that I have to pay to ship the item back to them... oh well, guess i will have to wait on my killer BF2 machine :(

Should *hopefully* get my PSU tomorrow or the day after! cant wait!

well, these days it doesnt pay to skimp on parts for a computer, always ends up bitting you in the ass!

Just go the Seasonic PSU in today! I will probably never order from Case-Mod.com again... big shipping fiasco, but at least i got it! As far as the RAM, I got in contact with an OCZ Tech Support guy and he helped me tweak my settings. I had to drop the Latency from 2-3-2-5 to 2.5-3-3-8 which kinda sucks. Now that I have my new PSU I can mess with it some more...

Thanks to all those that recomended the Seasonic! Definetly what I was looking for... I didnt know my computer could get any quieter! amazing...

Thats all for now! Got 4 physics labs to write and a final tomorrow... good fun.
