nice dodge. I asked for statistical significance and you offer up anecdotal evidence. So i'll ask again marijuana deaths whether in a plane, train automobile, walking, sitting sleep, etc anything anytime......are they statistically significant and if so what are the statistics.

Statistically significant? Hell I'd be happy with just one single solitary case where pot alone caused someone to die, or an fatal accident. I don't think they have even managed to kill a laboratory rat with weed, and only have the assumption that a fatal dose is beyond the possibility of consumption, something like you'd have to ingest around 18lbs of weed simultaneously for it to be fatal.

Either you guys have been smoking weak ass pot or you're full of shit.

So can you not link to a single case where someone died from pot alone? You said you seen people die from smoking pot, surely it made the papers.

One of our soldier's kids ended up having to be committed after having smoked himself stupid. I guess one day he just smoked, and smoked and smoked. 2 weeks later he still couldn't focus his eyes, or keep them still. He couldn't speak very quickly and had serious memory problems. They said his symptoms were similar to a traumatic brain injury.

Sounds like he got a hold of some synthetic stuff.

Please provide the evidence that shows no deaths can be attributed to marijuana use.

Um, why don't you prove to us that it CAN be deadly.

The only few deaths that were linked to marijuana were not do to overdose, or any kind of toxicity. The report I read detailing what I recall was only 3 marijuana related deaths were the results of people with heart conditions smoking massive amounts of pot and having an anxiety attack that blew up their heart.

No doubt. I can guarantee you that if someone actually overdosed on marijuana it would make national news.

It's like someone overdosing on oxygen.

Sorry, I just can't find a single death from pot, at least one that is backed up by any actual facts. So there's your evidence that no deaths can be attributed to marijuana use.

EDIT:

"8. At present it is estimated that marijuana's LD-50 is around 1:20,000 or 1:40,000. In layman terms this means that in order to induce death a marijuana smoker would have to consume 20,000 to 40,000 times as much marijuana as is contained in one marijuana cigarette. NIDA-supplied marijuana cigarettes weigh approximately .9 grams. A smoker would theoretically have to consume nearly 1,500 pounds of marijuana within about fifteen minutes to induce a lethal response.

Sorry, not 18 pounds, 1,500lbs in 15 minutes to get a Lethal Dose

You can make your point even more strongly than that. It's a lot harder to OD on marijuana than oxygen. Hyperoxia is rare now because the settings in which oxygen is used are well enough understood that people take strict precautions. Overdosing on marijuana is unheard of because it is as close to physically impossible as anything practically could be.
